Statement Sofas is a UK furniture business specialising in a carefully curated collection of handcrafted sofas. Throughout these Terms, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to Statement Sofas, and “you” refers to the customer placing an order.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights under UK consumer law. If there is any conflict between these Terms and a legal right that cannot be excluded, your statutory rights will always take priority.

You may use our website only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes.

We may update our website, product information and content from time to time and correct any errors where necessary. Availability, prices and delivery estimates may change before an order is accepted.

We make every effort to describe and photograph our sofas accurately so that you can choose with confidence. Colours may appear differently depending on your screen, lighting and surroundings. We therefore recommend ordering fabric swatches where colour is important.

Every Statement Sofas sofa is handcrafted using carefully selected materials. Small variations in measurements, stitching, buttoning, upholstery tension, timber grain, leather markings and fabric texture are part of the character of handcrafted furniture and are not normally faults.

Measurements shown on our website are approximate and, unless stated otherwise, a manufacturing tolerance of up to 3 cm may apply.

Leather, linen, velvet, chenille, timber and other natural materials all have unique characteristics which should not be regarded as defects.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation accepting your order, or when production or dispatch begins, whichever occurs first.

Please check your order confirmation carefully and notify us promptly if any details are incorrect.

We may decline an order before acceptance where payment cannot be authorised, an obvious pricing error has occurred, fraud is suspected or we are unable to fulfil the order.

Any payment received for an order we cannot accept will be refunded.

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£). Any delivery charges will be displayed before checkout.

Payment must be authorised before production or dispatch begins. Promotions and discount codes may be subject to separate conditions and cannot usually be applied retrospectively.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to change or cancel your order.

Bespoke or made-to-order sofas, including customer-selected fabrics, sizes or finishes, cannot usually be changed or cancelled once production has begun unless required by law or agreed by us.

We always aim to deliver within the estimated timeframe provided when you order. As our sofas are handcrafted, delivery dates are estimates and may occasionally change. If delays occur, we will keep you informed.

Our White Glove Delivery service includes delivery to your room of choice, assembly where required and removal of all protective packaging.

Please ensure your chosen sofa can be safely delivered into your property by checking access routes, doorways, staircases, lifts and narrow hallways before ordering.

If delivery cannot be completed safely or due to restricted access, reasonable re-delivery, storage or collection charges may apply.

Please ensure someone aged 18 or over is available to accept delivery. We kindly ask that you inspect your sofa on arrival and notify us as soon as reasonably practicable if you believe it has been damaged or is not what you ordered.

If your sofa is faulty, not as described or not of satisfactory quality, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

We will always honour those rights.

All content on our website, including photography, text, graphics, logos and product descriptions, belongs to Statement Sofas or its licensors and may not be copied or reproduced without prior written permission.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to that, our liability is limited to losses that are a reasonably foreseeable consequence of our breach of these Terms.

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version published on our website will apply to future orders.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
